Annabel Sutherland Retains Top Spot as ICC Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings Updated
The ICC Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings updated on 7 December 2025 place Australia’s Annabel Sutherland at No. 1, followed closely by India’s Deepti Sharma and Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal. The reshuffled top 10 reflects strong global competition, with key movements from England, South Africa, West Indies, and Pakistan.
Sutherland continues to lead the rankings with 736 rating points, matching her career-best mark achieved earlier this year against New Zealand in Wellington. Close on her heels sits India’s Deepti Sharma, who remains one of the format’s most reliable all-round bowlers. Sharma is ranked second with 732 points, though her career-best peak remains higher at 759, reached against Bangladesh in Dambulla in 2024.
Sharing the second position is Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal, also on 732 points. Iqbal, known for her precision and control, previously achieved a career-high 758 rating against Sri Lanka at Sharjah in 2024. England’s premier spinner Sophie Ecclestone, once the dominant force at the summit, now holds the fourth spot with 727 points, a notable distance from her career-best 802, attained against Australia at Edgbaston in 2023.
England’s rise continues with Lauren Bell, who maintains her place in the fifth position with 714 points, following a strong 2025 season highlighted by her career-best 741 against India at Bristol. South Africa’s Nonkululeko Mlaba follows in sixth with 705 points, her best form having come in 2023 when she reached 771 against New Zealand at Paarl.
Australia’s Georgia Wareham and England’s Charlie Dean are locked in a tie for seventh, both holding 704 points. Wareham’s highest career rating stands at 708, recorded against England earlier this year in Adelaide, while Dean previously touched 730 during England’s tour of New Zealand in Wellington in 2024.
At ninth, West Indies’ Afy Fletcher remains a seasoned presence on the list with 702 points, her career peak of 708 dating back to 2019 against Australia at Bridgetown. Pakistan’s Nashra Sundhu completes the top 10 at 700 points, having once reached 717 against Bangladesh in Chittagong in 2023.
The latest reshuffle underscores both the rising quality and increased unpredictability in the women’s T20I game. With several teams building depth in their bowling units, the battle for the top positions is expected to intensify further as international fixtures continue into the next season.
